Hearing refers to the sounds that you hear, whereas listening requires more than that: it requires focus. Listening means paying attention not only to the story, but how it is told, the use of language and voice, and how the other person uses his or her body. In other words, it means being aware of both verbal and non-verbal messages. Your ability to listen effectively depends on the degree to which you perceive and understand these messages.

The last session was the best class yet.because of the variety of the activities in class ,we had presentation ,listening,writting and speaking.It was so exciting class.my friend and I practiced almost all of the conversations that Ms. Mohammadi ignored then our hands.my friend had presentation about right way of listening and I think It was useful for most of my classmates.the good managment of class is positive point for master.and also involving most of students in class is the best way of teaching for teacher and leaing for students

Each session I lea useful information and know something new.I leaed pronounciation of words,I mean intonation in yes or no and Wh- questions.I leat some ways of listening and practiced them in class

.

The class was not boring and I think all of my classmates enjoyed it.

Somehow we were all involved in discussions and Mrs Mohammadi challenged our listening ability and creativity. She would play an audio book so we could solve the tasks. Covering the book and listening to some podcasts. About the student book I shall say that as usual we studied 2 units in this session that were about "phone messages" and "past events". This session we had lecture by "Faraz Khabazzadeh" and "Mohammadreza Poorsoltan". We were asked to solve tasks of the book, listen to soundtracks and get details out of them, make conversations and etc. Doing these over and over again will make our skills better and better

we talked about our past events that ocurred to us , wether good or bad. so based on the subject of the chapter we needed to work in pairs and make some conversations about the unexpected and interesting events that happened to us.

I like our class atmosphere as well and it can get better and better as we move forward, no doubt.

That was Mr. hosseini and derakhshan and I,presentation.Mr Hosseini prepared the power point and and for the first part Mr derakhshan presented and I presented the second part of p.p. our subject was about active listening process.at first we said something about listening and inverbal active listening and at the second part , I said the verbal active listening process.

I myself,leaed something practical in controlling audiance and having efficient presentation that be good for listeners.And I think I presented verbal part ,practical that my friends totally got it.

that was very nice class ever.
